Beyond Code Academy is excited to announce a specialized mentorship program, free of charge for selected students, designed to prepare our dedicated learners for the Moodeng AI Challenge, hosted by MIT Media Lab. This competition seeks innovative AI and data science solutions to enhance human-animal interactions and promote wildlife conservation.
Mentorship Program Requirements:
To qualify for this mentorship program, students must:
Have been continuously enrolled with Beyond Code Academy for over three years, defined as maintaining active participation without withdrawing for more than four consecutive weeks during this period.
Have successfully completed the following courses:
Code and Change the World with Python
Full Stack Web Development
Data Science Masterclass
Challenge Tracks:
Participants can choose from three impactful tracks:
AI for Decoding Animal Communication: Develop AI systems to interpret animal behaviors, vocalizations, and expressions, enhancing our understanding of species like Moodeng, the pygmy hippopotamus.
AI for Promoting Human-Animal Interaction & Appreciation: Create innovative interfaces that foster meaningful connections between humans and animals, deepening appreciation and awareness.
AI for Augmenting Zoo Keepers: Design AI solutions to streamline administrative tasks and enhance animal care, supporting conservation efforts within zoological settings.
Impact on Animal Conservation:
